Can Akdira Writer open .md files from Akdira Transcribe?
Yes. The OKF header appears in the Document Properties panel and stays intact when you save.
How do I make Writer the default app for .md?
The installer registers Writer as an editor for .md, .markdown, .mdown, and .mkd. After that, set it as the default app in your operating system settings.
Is the OKF/YAML header safe when saving?
Yes. The header is preserved, and you can edit it in the Document Properties panel or the Markdown Code view.
Does the file change if I open and save without editing?
No. The saved result is designed to be identical to the original file, and this is tested as a requirement for every serialization change.
Can I export to PDF?
Yes. The File menu offers Export PDF (A4) and Print.
Does Writer need internet or an account?
No. The editor runs on your computer and your files stay there.
Which languages does Writer offer?
The interface is available in Indonesian and English. The spell-check language can be set separately in Options.
